Kwanzaa Cafe at the Ferguson’s South End Branch ~ 12/19/13
Please join us to celebrate the Kwanzaa principle of Kuumba (creativity): “Kwanzaa Café: A Night of Creative Expressions” and also for evening of smooth Jazz featuring Maydie Myles on December 19, 2013 at 7:30pm at the Ferguson Library-South End Branch.
Kwanzaa Awareness Festival 12/6
Today was the Stamford Library’s 12th Annual Kwanzaa Awarenss Festival and it was wonderful!! Crafts were coordinated by Miss Claudia and the kids had a blast making Kwanzaa mats. Drummer/Artist Henry Jones was amazing during the cultural expression segment and teaching the kids on the african drums. Special Guest, comic strip artist, Jerry Craft had the kids enraptured with tips on how to draw! Fun was had by everyone! Check out the new photos in the Flicker Photo slideshow.

10th Annual Kwanzaa Celebration @Ferguson
Mark your calendars for the Ferguson Library’s 10th Anniversary Kwanzaa Celebration at the Main Library, Saturday, December 2nd at 2:00pm.
